Jeannie Cameron founded JCIC International in 2011 –a UK based strategic advocacy consultancy– focusing on the tobacco harm reduction, nicotine futures and supply chain security with clients in industry, start up, and government. She took a 2-year break from consulting in 2020 to work as VP International at Juul Labs. Jeannie earned a distinction for a dissertation: Emerging International Public Health Issues – Human Rights, Harm Reduction, and the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) as part of an LLM at Kings College London. She has over 20 years expertise with the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). Jeannie was chief of staff to various politicians and was Assistant Director of the International Legal Section of the Australian Cabinet Office participating in international human rights and trade forums. Jeannie is passionate about the therapeutic benefits of nicotine and recently spoke at a New York event on this topic. Jeannie is an active member of the UK Vape Industry Association (UKVIA).
